You can use this program to change your StarCraft CD-Key without reinstalling.

To change your StarCraft CD key, please close StarCraft and follow these steps:
1. Open the zip file and run SCKeyChanger.exe.
2. Click “Change CD-Key”.
3. Enter your Name and the new CD-key that you wish to use, and click OK.
4. Select the folder where StarCraft is installed on your computer, which most likely would be “C:\Program Files\Starcraft”, and click OK.
5. Done.

    I did it, and now every time I click on StarCraft it it says:

    “Starcraft was unable to open a required file. If this problem persists, try uninstalling and reinstalling Starcraft using the program “SETUP.EXE” on the starcraft CD-ROM.

    The problem occurred while trying to load a file

    curser\arrow.grp
    The system cannot find the file specified.”

    So, can somebody help me? Because it’s either that or this whole thing was pointless because I am going to have to reinstall it anyway.

    Zak you can has a bad install for your sc file

    Excuse me, i have a little problem… my friend bought an english new version sc bw, but install needs 26digits key… if he installs this way he has english game, but he wants to install in italian and then switch key from 13digits “3333-33333-3333″ key to his original new type 26digits key, in order to use online good key with italian starcraft… now this key changer doesn’t make me input a 26 digits key, only 13… what should i do??
    p.s. if i override stardat.mpq some text in game are ita and some text are eng @_@ lulz!!

    errr when i open it then come out some thing that says “Change Keygen” then i click it…..Then need a cd key . i took 1 from here and it installed a starcraft file that only contains “stardat.mpq”…………..help??

    If i change the cdkey 2 time in a rows its seem to stay the same do i need to delete some files ?

    DO NOT USE THIS ANYMORE. THE NEW PATCH CHANGES THE WAY THE CD KEY IS STORED. IF YOU USE THIS YOU WILL HAVE TO REINSTALL STARCRAFT.

    Ok my friend and i can never connect on any game. we have no idea what the problem is but we can only play if we join someone else. i cant host for him and he cant host for me im computer illiterate (and also a bad speller) can anybody help?

    Pissed Gamer i bet it’s because one of you is doing US West gateway and the other is doing US East or somethign like that.
